Hi! My name is Katie and I'm, well, let's just say that I'm not young but not old either. I would describe myself as a beauty noob.
I'm not a beauty blogger, just a random who enjoys writing reviews, especially on beauty products. Instead of letting them fester away, I thought I'd start a blog to group them together and share them. I prefer to remain anonymous for the most part, but I do have two other blogs:

SKIN PROFILE
very fair complexion, tending to redness on nose and cheeks.
combination T-zone; occasional pimples on chin and next to nose.
occasional dark circles and puffy eyes. not showing signs of ageing quite yet, thankfully.
have eczema on the palm of my hand, this can make me biased in reviewing hand creams.
A NOTE ON THE PHOTOS
Most photos are taken by either me or Husband. The rest are from Pinterest. I normally take my product photos in the bathroom, which has the best light in the house (sad, but true). This explains why you can see the tiles and strange pipes in the background of some shots! I do edit my photos to brighten and sharpen them, but I don't change the colours themselves.
ETHICAL POLICY
I'm what you'd call a slack-tivist. It's important to me to use products that aren't tested on animals, have a good review from the Cosmetics Cop, and preferably don't contain parabens, etc. Having said that, there are products that make me so excited that I just can't help myself. Whether it be their origin, brand, or simply they way they smell, I just have to have them, no matter what anyone says. I'm conflicted about it, and I hope to improve in future.
